# Orbit

> A cockpit for the agents that write your code. Orbit is a terminal cockpit
> for coding agents: each task runs in its own git worktree, in phases that
> stop where you tell them to, and everything is written down — the plan, the
> prompts, the reasoning, the diff, the cost, what the agent refused to do.

Orbit never calls a model. It runs the coding-agent CLI you already have
installed — Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Antigravity, Cline — under the subscription you already
pay for, so there is no API key and no second bill per token. It is an MCP
server with 22 tools, so your CLI writes the tasks, runs them, reads back
everything that happened while you were away, and teaches Orbit what it worked
out.
